Overview

iWhisper Pro ("the App") is a speech-to-text transcription application developed by Konrad Sierzputowski. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection & Processing

On-Device Transcription

When using on-device transcription mode, all audio processing occurs entirely on your device using the Whisper AI model. No audio data is sent to any server. Your recordings and transcriptions remain on your device.

Cloud Transcription

When using cloud transcription mode, audio data is sent to our transcription API for processing. Audio data is:

• Transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
• Processed in real-time and not permanently stored
• Deleted from our servers immediately after transcription

Device Information

We collect basic, non-identifying device information for app functionality:

• Device model and OS version (to optimize transcription settings)
• App version
• Anonymous usage statistics (transcription count, not content)

Account & Purchase Data

If you purchase iWhisper Pro, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We store only your email address for license verification. We do not store credit card information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect the content of your transcriptions
• We do not record or store your audio (in on-device mode)
• We do not track your location
• We do not sell any data to third parties
• We do not use advertising trackers

Third-Party Services

• Stripe — Payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
• Supabase — App configuration and anonymous analytics (Supabase Privacy Policy)

Data Retention

Transcriptions are stored only on your device. Cloud-processed audio is deleted immediately after transcription. Account data is retained as long as your license is active.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Use the app entirely offline (on-device mode)
• Request deletion of your account data
• Export your transcriptions at any time

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
